For this project we worked in partnership with Forty6Design, an innovative digital agency with an extensive portfolio in both print and digital graphic design. From the outset, the goal was to create a beautiful, yet functional, website that was able to balance a modern look and feel with a firmly professional presentation for this FTSE 250 company.
The scale of this international, multi-regional website required a large amount of templates to be created. From the interactive HTML5 animations, to the responsive mobile and tablet versions, the website looks stunning across all devices.
The specifications for this website were very complex. Our challenge was to bring these functions to life in a lightweight manner that served the performance of the website and the features required. The Content Management System includes a multi-user, multi-role permissions set, allowing for a vast array of administrators and editors with specific access to every section of the website.
Geo-location provides regional redirection to the correct local variant, while the inbuilt translation management allows language variation across each region, as required by the site administrators.
The bespoke location database of Driver Group’s offices provides automatic, animated GPS marker icons on SVG mapping (no iFrames or Google Maps here). This is interlinked with the staff database to provide a comprehensive, searchable contact directory.
Other features include: SVG (scalable vector graphics), retina-ready (high density display) graphics, front-end login and registration, investor information API integration, an inbuilt PDF reader, on-site SEO (search engine optimisation) and @media fully fluid responsive stylesheets.
We are global business with a complex service offering that needs to be delivered internationally, with local knowledge. Our website needed updating and we set a very challenging brief requiring video content, animated graphics, and IP address detection to allow clients on each continent to reach a dedicated homepage. The team took the time and trouble to understand the brief fully and Michael’s input into the final website has left us with what I consider to be a world class product.Mark Wheeler, Driver Group
